Deans' Bio: Keith Mitchell
Hello, friends! My name is Keith Mitchell, and I currently serve as a pastor at Ferris Church of Christ in Vestaburg, MI, where I began my ministry in September 2021. I love Jesus, my Lord and Savior, and I love people. My goal is to reflect Christ in the world around me. Preaching and teaching the Word of God are my passions. Helping others experience the transformative power of the Bible and the living Word, Jesus Christ, motivates me to fulfill my calling as an evangelist.
Another passion of mine is basketball. I’ve been playing the game since I was about 5 years old, giving me over 30 years of experience. Currently, I am an assistant basketball coach at Fellowship Baptist Academy in Carson City, MI. Coaching young players and helping them grow in their skills excites me. It brings me great joy to see others, especially young people, enjoy the game and improve as players.
Much like the Christian faith, basketball requires mastering the fundamentals, practicing consistently, and striving to grow. These elements build confidence and strength, whether in faith or on the court.
I am looking forward to this year’s basketball camp at RLCA and the opportunity to share my love for the game and for Christ with all of you!
