A visit to Rock Lake Christian Assembly will captivate and encourage you.  We are located in the "middle of the mitt" which makes us accessible to everyone.  We are a short drive from almost anywhere under the bridge.  15 miles west of Alma Michigan on M-46 we are easy to find (see maps below).  Our location makes for a  quick trip to stores East or West of us. Our primary focus of ministry is directed toward the youth.  We offer them a relaxing but fun "experience" through many options for summer camp with both on campus "experiences" and off site trips loaded with adventure.  Our second ministry focus is families.  We offer many "experiences" for you and your family to come out and spend a weekend, week or month in one of our cabins.  The user fees make your vacation affordable.

Come "EXPERIENCE" RLCA

Summer Camp For All Ages

We work hard to offer something for everyone.  From the youngest beginner to young adults, our summer programs will have your child talking about their "experience" for a long time.

Each camp "experience" is planned and supervised by seasoned deans who have many years of combined service. Every dean is selected and interviewed by the camp director. They in turn select faculty that they know and are recommended by the leadership of the churches.  In addition, everyone who works a week of camp has background checks done to insure that your child is protected to the fullest extent that we can do.

Off-Site "Experiences"

Our off-site trips range from canoe trips to kayak trips to    an Upper Peninsula back pack "experience".  Our leaders for these trips are seasoned and do a wonderful job providing your student(s) with a unique summer "experience".  The canoe and kayak trips will spend 1 night on camp property and 4 nights on the Au Sable river.  The back pack trip will leave the camp Sunday afternoon and hike the U.P. for  4 days and return on Friday.

Specialty Camps

Our specialty camp "experiences" include two weekends of handicamp for our campers who have impairments that may restrict their participation at other camps. In addition, we offer four all girls camps.  One for girls in grades 3 thru 7 and another for grades 8 thru 12 .  There are also 2 all girls wilderness camps.  One for 5th-8th grade ladies and a second for 8th-12th grade ladies. We also have a co-ed wilderness camp for 5th & 6th graders, or how about a young men's camp for guys in 4th -8th grades?
