Basketball Camp
July 28th-August 2nd
Rock Lake offers a residential basketball skills camp geared for 5th-8th grade students. This camp will spend focused time daily working to develop skills necessary to play at the Middle School level. The dean of this camp, Matthew Koutz, serves as one of the basketball coaches for the Vestaburg school women's program. The skills portion of this camp will take place at the Vestaburg High School gymnasium. Students will be shuttled to-and-from campus as necessary throughout the week.
Deans' Bio: Matthew Koutz
Matt Koutz is a member of the St. Louis Church of Christ where he attends with his family. Matt is a teacher at Vestaburg Middle School where he serves as one of the women's basketball coaches. Matt loves basketball and helping students to be the best they can be; the best student in the classroom, the best teammate, the best basketball player. Matt wants to see students grow in their faith as well.
Matt is passionate about summer camp and after serving as director for several years at another camp, we are excited to have him back serving as a dean for this great session here at Rock Lake!
